Plan a trip to attend Glastonbury 2019: Janet Jackson to make UK festival debut

Another artist set to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival has reportedly been revealed.

According to insiders, Janet Jackson will appear at Worthy Farm for the first time to headline a stage on the event’s Sunday evening.

“She has never performed at Glastonbury but she knows what a massive deal it is,” a source told The Sun. “It is looking like she will perform on Sunday but her exact slot is to be confirmed.”

The unnamed insider added: “Organizers are still booking acts and arranging the schedule but she is really excited to be back in the UK.”

Jackson’s last UK performances included a three-night run at the Royal Albert Hall in 2011.

If the Glastonbury slot manifests, her set will take place days after the 10th anniversary of the death of her brother, Michael Jackson, on 25 June. Her singing brothers, known collectively as The Jacksons, played the festival in 2017.

Stormzy is the sole headliner to have been announced so far. Other artists who’ll play include Janelle Monae and Kylie Minogue, who will perform the Legends slot on Sunday afternoon.

ETInside.com has reached out to Janet Jackson’s representatives for comment.

Glastonbury Festival takes place on 26-30 June.
